Board Of Directors
I was invited to the first public meeting of Love Inc and was drawn to the history and purpose immediately. I knew that I wanted to be a part of something that was bigger than myself, that really helped people in my community. I am very excited to work with people from so many denominations, whose common goal is to serve our Flathead Valley at large. I am humbled and honored to have been asked to be a member of the board of directors and hope my contributions will be valuable. Thank you for reading this bio and for wanting to be a part of something so cool.
After a hurtful period in my life after I retired in 2010, I turned to my faith even more and each day I prayed for God's Will to be done in my life. I knew that if I was able to help others, my life would be changed for the better. Deacon Floyd McCubbins suggested that I talk to the Executive Director, Lennie Eaton, about joining the Board of Directors of LoveINC. The minute I walked into the office and we began to talk about what LoveINC did, I knew I was where God wanted me to be. I am ever trusting and faithful to Jesus Christ.
My name is Sue Hays. I am the parent of two grown sons. I am also a Montessori teacher, currently working in Whitefish, MT. My educational background includes a BA degree in education from the University of Montana. I live in Columbia Falls and I have been a member of the Columbia Falls United Methodist Church since 1970. I was part of the founding board of Love INC of the North Flathead and presently I serve as the Board's secretary. Serving the Lord has always been very important to me, as well as serving my community. As a Love INC member, I can serve both. I was drawn to the concept of Love INC because I saw that it was a way to counteract negative situations, rebuild lives and build relationships and community based on the teachings of Christ.
I work with children because I believe that by teaching children to be peaceful, intelligent human beings I can make an important difference in our society. I work with Love INC so I can be the hands and feet of Christ and help bring intell
When I heard about Love INC I wanted to become involved because I have been blessed and wanted to bless others.
Lynda Osborne has lived nearly her whole life in the Flathead Valley and has been a member of Christ Lutheran Church for most of that time with the exception of 13 years where she attended Kalispell Four Square. She has been instrumental in organizing and chairing or helping with a number of fundraisers including those for the Lighthouse Christian Home, the CLC Ecuador mission trip, and now the new Christ Lutheran sanctuary. She is humbled and excited to join the Love INC board and looks forward to how God is going to use her in this ministry.
Pastor Ken and his wife Kris arrived in August, 2009, excited about beginning their tenure at Canyon Community Church. Born and raised in the Spokane Valley, Ken attended church growing up, but didn't come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ until 1972 while stationed aboard a fast-attack nuclear submarine.
After leaving the service, he graduated from Washington State University, took a teaching job in Marysville, Washington, while doing graduate work at the University of Washington.
Ken stayed in public education for over thirty-one years as a classroom teacher, athletic coach, staff developer and district administrator. In 1999, God led Ken and Kris to enroll at Contenders Bible School in Snohomish, Washington. After completing the course work, they briefly considered entering full-time ministry, but after much prayer, they felt God wanted them to stay in lay ministry at Machias Community Church.
